Get to know us (a little more)

We are so excited to get to see you in the shop and get to know you better - to kick off the 'getting to know you,' we figured we'd share a few "fun facts" about The Mustache Cat and me (Rebecca)

1. The “T” in The Mustache Cat logo includes a combination of the mustaches of the 2 cats we’re named after (Bernie + Gus)

2. I left my corporate career ~6 months ago to pursue my lifelong dream of owning a small business full-time

3. My entire MN life has been spent in Saint Paul, starting 10+ years ago with a purchase of a 1918 craftsman in the Mac-Grove neighborhood. It had been a college rental for the previous 40 years, so it definitely needed some love. This place sparked my love for Saint Paul, home decor, and bringing things back to their former glory

4. A few random things I love & plan to carry with me to the store: my animals (I have a dog too - Duke is a yellow lab rescue with a big smile), reading (I love a good cozy mystery - please don't judge me), the Peloton (catch me riding with friends most weekend mornings), cheese (does this need an explanation?), hats (these make it easy to not style my bangs), hiking/paddleboarding (especially with the big dog), and watching my favorite shows (a recent fav: Kim's Convenience)
