Our favorite tips for styling a coffee table

Feeling stuck trying to style your coffee table? We have ALL been there - here are a few of our favorite things to consider when styling your coffee table

• Add some conversation starters - pick an item or two that scream “you” or that give a little interest to the space. Coffee table books and coasters can be a great way to give you/your guests something to do and chat about. Now you know, I LOVE the Golden Girls - I’m a Sophia 💯

• Include different shapes/sizes/materials - things will feel ‘off’ if they are all the same height, shape, or finish. The round(ish) flower tray here balances the square coasters, the tall milk bottle paired with the medium height candle and flat book help this decor feel right for the space

• Incorporate something organic 🌿 - I love having fresh flowers around the house (I try to pick long lasting items so I can go a week or two between bouquets). If flowers aren’t your thing, you can opt for greens (like this eucalyptus), plants (even faux are fab), or dried florals. These are a great way to add a bit of color and height

• And of course - don’t be afraid to mix styles. We think the vintage (candle and milk bottle vessels) + modern (table, book, coasters, bowl) complement each other for this look. Play around! Don’t love the way something looks, change it! Have some fun with your decor and don’t worry about being ‘stuck’ with the look you choose
