We love Saint Paul

Hard to believe it was over 10 years ago when I first moved to Minnesota. It is easy to love Saint Paul - living here in a historic home (both our homes here have been 100+ years old) has been a perfect fit and seemed like a great spot to bring The Mustache Cat to life. In honor of being here for 10 years, I've documented my 10 favorite things about Minnesota - share what you love about MN in the comments!

1. History - I love the historic streets, homes, and buildings in Saint Paul
2. Walkability (is that a word)? - so many fabulous things to do in close proximity.
3. Great local businesses - wonderful small businesses to support
4. Community - amazing markets, events, support systems, and neighbors
5. Parks - we (espeically the big dog Duke) love to get outside. We are minutes away from some of my favorite hikes along the river and waterfront
6. Architecture - acting like a tourist in my own city is one of my favorite things. I've enjoyed touring the Saint Paul Cathedral, Capitol Building, James J. Hill House, and historic Summit homes especially
7. Sports - love a Saint Paul Saints game (I keep score whenever I go), and seeing the Wild is fun too!
8. Food and Drink - so many fabulous breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, and spots to snack right here (and many walkable)
9. Music/Concerts - great bands and artists frequent the Saint Paul music scene
10. Proximity - appreciate that Saint Paul feels close to everything, especially the airport for visits to my out of town friends & family
