Our first house, bought just before Grand Old Day, solidified my passion for this community. This year, we're making it official by joining the parade with a funky float and wearable mustache throws. How did we get here?
What do a liberal arts history degree, account management for libraries/bookstores/students looking to resell books, selling payroll to small businesses, managing customer experience for restaurants’ fry oil management, launching a product that cleans commercial kitchen exhaust systems, leading e-commerce promotions for furniture/home goods, and a MBA have in common?
Why vintage?
One of my favorite things to do growing up was to accompany my Dad on his regular trips to a small local antique shop. The owner Jude, (an absolutely fabulous woman with a contagious spirit) would always greet us by name and show us the new items she had that she thought might interest us. I loved how well she knew us as customers (and humans), what we loved, our preferred style, and how she always had something fresh even though we had just been there the week prior.
